Our native Austin Stone Sunday cottage is a one-of-a-kind treasure. The Stone Cottage is modeled after the German Sunday houses of yesteryear that are unique to Fredericksburg. These cozy one-room homes were the weekend retreats of rural farming families when they came into Fredericksburg to shop and attend church.

Upon entering The Stone Cottage, you are greeted by darling farm decor and panoramic views of the ranch. Its open airy space offers all the comfort you need for a romantic getaway.

Step out and enjoy the view on the private patio, or soak up the relaxation in your own hot tub! Attention to every detail reflects the pride the Innkeepers have in offering private luxury accommodations to their guests.

Grapetown Gasthaus

170 Donkey Trot Trail

Sleeps 2

The name of the cottage was chosen from the local area that was once called Grapetown. The old one room school house can still be found a quarter mile up the road from our ranch. The native Austin Stone Grapetown Gasthaus was handcrafted by a local artisan.

The guesthouse, located at the end of Donkey Trot Trail, offers scenic seclusion as you enter through the cedar privacy screen.

You are welcomed into the Gasthaus by antique doors from a Mexican hacienda. The design of the Grapetown Gasthaus is based on these beautiful unique doors. Its matching partners provide a dramatic entrance to the bedroom suite. The layers of vibrant turquoise, exposed wood, and authentic hardware create an ambiance of rustic charm.
